What do you call it? Central Wire Industries provides custom profile wire and shaped wire. There isn't a difference between the two, just different terminologies. You can even combine the two terms and call it shaped profile wire! After all, the wire is shaped/profiled to the profile or shape of your choice. It is neither flat nor round wire. The shapes/profiles we can produce our wire in are infinite as we have the capabilities to input almost any kind of profiled die into our machines and produce a perfected output of custom shaped profile wire. This enables our customers to receive maximum customizability when purchasing our products and allows us to have an edge over our competitors that stick to the basic/standard shapes. All our profiles are manufactured on specialty equipment designed and built in-house with each line having in-line laser measuring - guaranteeing dimensional accuracy. Our ability to manufacture the tooling on-site ensures consistency but also offers our customers the opportunity to develop complex or demanding requirements.
