Braiding Wire

Braided wire is a type of shielding that protects and increases the life of the cable within. Several fine round braiding wires are tightly woven into a tube. This tube can be then coated for increased durability. Braiding sleeving can be used in multiple applications, from household appliances to automobiles. These high-quality wires are strong to handle increased external stress.

Knitting Wire

Knitting wire is a key component for our CWI Tech-Mesh™. This knitted wire mesh is often used to produce mist eliminators or bulk mesh. Round knitting wire is available in the traditional 300 series stainless steel, but also high-performance alloys such as Monel®, Inconel®, and Hastelloy X®, as well as red metals. More information about our knitted wire mesh is available online.

Locking Wire

Locking wire, or safety wire, is a device that prevents fasteners from falling out due to vibration or other external forces. These wires can be applied to nuts, bolts and other fasteners. This wire is commonly used in the aerospace industry. CWI locking wire is made of a malleable alloy, like 304 and 316 stainless steel alloys, so that it retains its shape after being bent.

All our round wire is available in several packaging options, like spools, reels, coils and bobbins. Braiding wire, knitting wire and locking wire are all unique, customized products that use CWI round wire. Are you interested in learning more about round wire industries and applications?
